I believe all people deserve a place to be heard, not judged; helped, not hurt; and valued, not shamed. I’d love to sit with you to hear your story, to value your process, and help you move closer to your goals. Over the years I have worked to help others as an educator and serving in ministry. For nearly a decade I have worked in outpatient therapy settings, providing behavioral and mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. I currently provide counseling via Telehealth in the states of North Carolina and Virginia. I am EMDRIA certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing); Cognitive Processing Therapy; Team CBT; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and more.
My name is Angela Moon and I am currently a pre-licensed mental health counselor, being supervised by two licensed and experienced mental health counselors. Christian (Biblical/Faith-Based) counseling is a beautiful merge between psychology and the Christian faith. As a mental health counseling intern who is a devout Christian, I strive to center our sessions on Jesus Christ, the Gospel truths, and our identity as children of God. Mental health counseling in the world can only do so much for Christians because it relies only on science and psychology. True Christian counseling acknowledges scientific evidence-based practices while at the same time making use of powerful tools from our faith, which include Scripture and prayer. For true restoration, healing, and Spritual awakening, Christian counseling is non-negotiable. I am a 2nd generation Korean-American, and I speak fluent Korean.I offer only teletherapy at this time, and my rate is $45 for a 50-minute session.

I am a Colorado based mental health counselor who walks with clients to a betterment of themselves.
I specialize in helping Christians integrate their faith into clinical practice and solutions. I am here to support and empower women who have lost their sense of self. There are many obstacles we encounter in life and sometimes it takes someone sitting with us and exploring what is making the mountain seem immovable. I specialize in helping women set up goals and develop a path to achieve them. I also enjoy working with married couples, to help them develop healthy ways to handle conflict, and also those trying to blend a family. I also do premarital counseling for engaged couples.

I currently work full time in a large cancer institute, and I operate a small, telehealth private practice in the evenings and on Saturdays that focuses on ministering to people affected by cancer. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I also facilitate a free weekly cancer support group on Thursday evenings to give back to my community. I am licensed to practice in North Carolina, Florida and Washington State. Working with people affected by cancer has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I consider every session a divine appointment prepared in advance by our Lord.

Description of self/services for directory: My education includes a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and am also currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist. I have experience working in community-based agencies as well as office settings, providing mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults.
Before beginning graduate school, I was blessed to have the opportunity to serve on a mission team in Argentina for two years. Through this experience, I gained a greater appreciation for a beautiful country and a deeper understanding of other cultures. I also speak Spanish and enjoy working with Latino families.
Throughout graduate school, I completed an internship at a pregnancy resource center, providing crisis counseling and facilitating a program focused on parenting skills training. As a mother to two young children I love helping others on their journey through pregnancy and the postpartum stage. Motherhood is a huge blessing but also comes with many challenges. I have a passion for walking alongside other mothers as they encounter both the joys and frustrations of parenting.
When requested by the client, I seek to help others develop a deeper understanding of God's presence and purpose in their circumstances. While my counseling orientation is based on a Christian worldview, I also utilize other approaches to therapy based upon client need. I have received training in play therapy and utilize this approach when counseling preschool and elementary age children. I have always loved art and often use creative approaches with all ages. It is my goals to work with you, wherever you are, and help you experience a new sense of peace and hope.

Welcome to SureHope! My name is Jessica Winebarger and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. Thank you for considering me to be your therapist. I strive to create a caring and non-judgmental environment in which individuals can safely process their experiences and emotions and develop skills that assist in finding healing and freedom in their lives. I specifically have a passion for helping teens and women find healing and freedom from trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I offer both individual and family therapy. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as the framework for the sessions, but also integrate trauma-informed techniques, mindfulness and relaxation skills, and art therapy techniques. My goal is to individualize the therapy sessions to what my client needs and connects with most. Throughout all of my therapy, if my client is interested, I center the psychological concepts and techniques in scriptural truth and biblical principles.
I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and I am EMDR trained. My previous experience includes working with families impacted by domestic violence and working with children under the age of 18 in crisis. I provided both group and individual therapy for these children in an intensive program that addressed the holistic needs of the children and their families.
