As a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, I offer effective and affordable counseling to individuals, couples, and families both in person and via telehealth. When you "Request an intro call", I'm setting aside a free hour for an initial consultation during which we can meet together, speak openly, and answer whatever questions you may have.
As a follower of Jesus, serving in this way is my calling. I am the husband of 1, father of 4, and, by God’s grace, I have the expertise and empathy to help in the areas of marital and pre-marital counseling, family counseling, trauma recovery, overcoming sexual addiction, and addressing various other mental health concerns.
My typical hours are M/T 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM and W/TH 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Certain Saturday mornings are also available 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Welcome to SureHope! My name is Jessica Winebarger and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. Thank you for considering me to be your therapist. I strive to create a caring and non-judgmental environment in which individuals can safely process their experiences and emotions and develop skills that assist in finding healing and freedom in their lives. I specifically have a passion for helping teens and women find healing and freedom from trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I offer both individual and family therapy. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as the framework for the sessions, but also integrate trauma-informed techniques, mindfulness and relaxation skills, and art therapy techniques. My goal is to individualize the therapy sessions to what my client needs and connects with most. Throughout all of my therapy, if my client is interested, I center the psychological concepts and techniques in scriptural truth and biblical principles.
I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and I am EMDR trained. My previous experience includes working with families impacted by domestic violence and working with children under the age of 18 in crisis. I provided both group and individual therapy for these children in an intensive program that addressed the holistic needs of the children and their families.
If you would like to hear more about the services I provide or would like to schedule a virtual appointment, please contact me at [email protected] or (704)729-4979. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey of healing and growth.
