I have over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist helping people get unstuck and relate better to themselves and others so that each one can become the best version of themselves. I am person-centered—meaning that you, the client, are in-charge of the process of change. I have extensive experience in treating anxiety and mood disorders, but work with a variety of issues including grief and relationship issues. I use a mixture of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to assist you in making the changes you desire—all from a Christian worldview.
Many people come to counseling because they want to make significant changes in their lives and are interested in the supportive, non-judgmental assistance that counseling can provide. Others seek counseling because change or other difficult circumstances have been thrust on them. My goal for counseling is to assist you in making positive steps toward achieving wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

With 17 years of experience, I help individuals and couples break free from the patterns that keep them stuck. As a Christian therapist, I integrate faith-based values with evidence-based approaches to bring clarity, healing, and lasting change. My style is direct yet compassionate—I get to the root of the issue, helping you understand why you feel the way you do and how to create healthier relationships with yourself and others.
New research is uncovering how much self-compassion is the antidote to judgment and a key ingredient in making lasting changes. Who modeled compassion perfectly for us? Jesus himself. Through this lens, I help clients replace self-criticism with grace, equipping them to move forward with confidence, peace, and a deeper sense of self-worth.
